April 18th Spring Art Auction 7 PM E.S.T.

Our April 18th Fine Art Auction promises to be memorable if only for the large collection of important and rare AAA era prints.
Included are some of the rarest works by Grant Wood, John Stuart Curry, Roger Medearis, Jackson Lee Nesbitt, Thomas Hart Benton, John S. De Martelly, Adolph Dehn, and Dale Nichols.
This auction offers a rare signed, first state Mary Cassatt print, probably the only known example existent.
Other important works include the "Puppet Man", considered Calder's best print, a rare Whistler signed "Venice" print, three rare Escher prints, and a rare complete set of Jim Dine's tools, hand colored by the artist.

Other artists in this sale are documented old masters by Durer and Rembrandt, important works by Matisse, Man Ray, Miro, Charles Sebree, Raphel Soyer, Vasarely, and Latin artists Cuevas and Matta. Included also are decorative works by by well known artists such as Erte, Richardson, Bill Mack and Robert Wyland among many others. Pop era works include artists Lichtenstein, Red Grooms, Crash, Hockney, Haring, Peter Max, Rizzi and Jasper Johns. Works by german expressionist and related European artists Redon, Orlik, Kollwitz, Corinth, and Zorn are also offered. Plus other rare and fine paintings, prints and sculptures, over 200 lots, estimates from $100 and up, some works no reserve.
